South East Melbourne Bid

The South East Melbourne A-League bid group has hired Matt Windley to be its full-time project officer and also develop the bid.

Matt is well-known as a sports reporter with the Herald Sun newspaper in Melbourne and writes regularly on football and the A-League.

One of the things to note is that the South East Melbourne A-League bid does not have a stadium to play games at. They are proposing to build a stadium at Dandenong, but construction will only happen if they are awarded an A-League licence.

Canberra does have an A-League quality stadium if the Canberra bid is successful.
